Mrs Raquel Russel Ponte

An extraordinary aunt of mine who is a Marathoner at the age of 71 and going strong! I was inspired to paint her because she has so much energy and enthusiasm for everyone and every thing. I did this portrait to mark her 70th birthday, sitting at her front door wearing her running clothes for a photo shoot prior to one of her many marathons.
